In Ireland you can now rent a car up to the age of 99. There are no extra surcharges for senior driver. However not all car hire companies will rent to drivers over 70. Please enter your reservation details and click search. When the search result appear click on Important information, then under Terms and Conditions please click on Driver's age. You will see the Terms and Conditions for this particular car. It may state 30 to 75 years, if so proceed to the next car by a different supplier on the list until you find Driver's age 25 to 80 years.

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section.

As a guide line it is usually ENTERPRISE, FLIZZR and SIXT but this can vary according on the location
